March of the Quilt

Inspired by the AIDS Quilt, The Border Quilt  expresses how militarization has resulted in losses for border residents. On 2’ x 4’ cloth panels, border residents  tell stories of lives lost, loss of civil rights, loss of security, and loss of humanity.

The Border Quilt will start its pilgrimage in Arizona on March 30 and will continue to travel in New Mexico, Texas, and northern border communities.

Justice Sí, Impunity No! A Protest & Procession for all victims of Border Patrol violence
5 pm – Gather at 4th Ave & 6th St intersection
6 pm – Vegetarian meal at La Indita Restaurant ($7-includes drink and dessert)
